Well, I’m back from vacation. Except for doing #blogmonth at the end of the day and playing a video game or two, I purposefully avoided sitting behind a keyboard for the most part. Relaxing, working on the house, and catching up with some movies all week was nice. Honestly, though, it’ll be good to get back to my regular work schedule again.
Did you get to enjoy the annular solar eclipse on Saturday? Donna and I sat on our back porch and enjoyed the spectacle. The sun went down to a thin crescent, smiling down on us, with the light and shadows under our trees smiling back. It was noticeably dimmer and cooler during the eclipse. It was cool enough that we had put on sweaters. Ha!
Be sure you keep all your solar eclipse viewing equipment in a safe place. We get to enjoy a total solar eclipse on April 8, 2023, and this time we get to see it here in Oklahoma. More on that eclipse then.
This newsletter will be a little shorter than normal. The Oklahoma History and About Oklahoma segments will return next time as I get back to my normal schedule.
Well, I need to get caught up with email and a week’s worth of tasks piled up on my desk. I hope you are doing well.
More later. Time to get back to work.
