Did you make it through the big clock shift? Daylight Saving Time is back. Though I prefer Daylight Saving Time over Standard Time, I seriously dislike the time change. I’m hoping new legislation in both the State and Federal levels go through, and we can do away with this time shift.
What do you think? Should we end the time switch all together?
Oh, by the way, did you replace the batteries in your smoke alarms, CO detectors, and weather radio? The time change is a good reminder and opportunity to do that.
A big thank you to everyone who voted on March 7th. You help keep the wheels of democracy going here in Oklahoma. Sixty-one percent of you voted against State Question 820. Though I’m personally disappointed in the vote’s outcome, it was a fair election. In my opinion, the main take away from this election isn’t the result of the election (though important), it was the lack of participation. According to the Oklahoma Elections Board only 25% of eligible voters bothered to vote. That’s disappointing. Please remember dear friends, there are no small elections. Please vote.
Well on to other things.
I finally finished the big office move. Yay! That took way longer than I had thought it would. I’ll be sure to share a short office tour later this week over on Blog Oklahoma’s YouTube channel. Now I’ll be able to record a new podcast without the worry of freezing north winds and loud street noises. The only thing I must contend with now is my neighbor’s new rooster. If it’s not one thing, it’s another. Ha!
This Week
Now that I'm finished moving my office, I have time to work on this month's podcast. I still haven't thought of the main topic yet, but I'll come up with something this week. Be sure to watch the Blog Oklahoma Project board for updates on that.
More Later. Time to write.

Listen In
This past week I was back in a classic rock mood. I listened to Spotify's Classic Rock Mix for the most part. Full of artists like Billy Squire, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and ZZ Top.
I made some progress on Ring World by Larry Niven on Audible. It's been a fun sci-fi story so far.
I spent most of my free time last week working on the office, so I didn't get back to reading anything except the local newspaper.
