I’m back to work on the Blog Oklahoma Podcast again. Yay! I apologize again for the delay. I intended 2023 to be the year of regular podcasts; it just hasn’t worked out. So, let's all pretend the goal this year was quality over quantity. Ha!
In the next few episodes, I’ll continue with what I started in the Jefferson Highway episode along the lines of Oklahoma history and tourism. I’ll introduce you to Oklahoma’s economic and tourism regions. I’ll highlight what makes each region (or “country”) unique and highlight their significant features, attractions, communities, and history.
As a little side project to this, I’ll be noting each of Oklahoma’s 77 counties with their demographics and features. I haven’t quite figured out how I’ll present this yet. I’m unsure if I’ll roll it into each podcast episode, attempt to do something with video and YouTube shorts, do something for the newsletter, or all of the above.
I should have a new episode out in the next few weeks. It’s good to be working on the podcast again.
This Week
Podcast
As I mentioned above I'm working on the podcast. I'm in the research and rough draft stage. I'm hoping to have at least one script done this week if not the next.
Obsidian
I'm also taking a good look at Obsidian this week. I do really like Notion, and I use it quite a bit, but the markdown based entry of Obsidian interests me. I'll be using Obsidian to gather and organize the notes for the next few episodes of the podcast.
Regular Business
Other than that I'll be working on the usual. Be sure to look at our Trello board for project updates.
More later. Time to research and write.

I'm still listening to Space: 1969 by Bill Oakley on Audible. It is a short book, but I've been listening music instead.
I'm also still binge watching Red vs Blue on YouTube. I’m up to The Shisno Trilogy.
