Kelso
Our family is saddened this week. Our beloved Kelso has left us. He passed away in his sleep last week. He was a good family companion for 13 blessed years. Kelso was always there when you needed comfort because his favorite spot was sitting in your lap. If he wasn’t in your lap, he would love to climb up on tables, counters, or any high space he could reach, knocking over anything he could. Here it is a week later, and I’m still looking for him when I hear a thump coming from another room. We miss him, but he’s reunited with his brother, FB. They’ve probably already argued about who gets to sit by the window.
On July 11, 2023, the Oklahoma Elections Board finally launched online voter registration. Way back in 2015, the Oklahoma Legislature approved SB 313 to authorize electronic voter registration. After many years of delay, you can now register to vote online. It would be interesting to read why it took eight years to roll out and how much it cost to develop. As a developer, I can sit here and grumble about it, but let’s focus on the fact that it’s available now. You can now easily register to vote online, visit the Oklahoma Voter Portal for details.
Are you registered to vote? If not, I’m interested to know why. Please leave a comment.
