Election day is just around the corner. Some important deadlines are fast approaching.
Election Day
The general election is fast approaching. On Tuesday, November 5, 2024, the polls in Oklahoma will be open from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
There are some important dates and deadlines that are fast approaching.
Please register to vote today if you haven't already. The last day to register to vote in Oklahoma for the general election is October 11.
Vote Absentee
If you can’t make it to the polls on election day, the deadline to request an absentee ballot is 5:00 PM, October 21.
Please remember that a notary signature is required on your absentee ballot before you send it in. Many of your local banks, libraries, or businesses offer a notary service, which is free for your absentee ballot. You can find a local notary here.
Your county elections board must receive your absentee ballot before 7:00 PM on election night. To avoid delivery delays, it’s a good practice to drop your ballot in the U.S. mail no later than the week before election day.
Vote Early
You can also vote early at your local designated early voting location from Wednesday, October 30 through Friday, November 1, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturday, November 2, 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. A list of early voting locations is available here.
