Showing off Elk City
Over the last few months, I’ve been working on a client project I’m happy to be able to now let you know about. Leadership Elk City Class VII with the generous sponsorship from many local businesses has installed new cameras downtown at the Elk City Chamber of Commerce, on a tower near Elk City City Hall, and a third camera to be installed later. These cameras provide live views of Elk City, Oklahoma to the world. You can view the cameras at visitelkcity.com, www.elkcity.com, and soon elkcitychamber.com (They’re working on a brand-new website).
Rodeo of Champions
If you’re in the Elk City area this weekend (September 2-4, 2022), we’re having our big Rodeo of Champions weekend. There are events happening all around town all weekend long. Downtown on Saturday around 10:00 am is the annual Rodeo of Champions Parade. If you can’t make it to our fair city, watch the parade live on the new downtown camera!
Labor Day
Speaking of the weekend. I’m wishing all of you a fun and safe Labor Day. Since it’s a holiday, there won’t be a newsletter next week. I’ll be back with a new edition on Monday, September 12th.
More later. Time to get things done before the 3-day weekend.
