Be The Change
Are you tired of the status quo in Oklahoma politics? Then be the change and run for office. Plus, it's time to go vote again and we celebrate OU women's basketball.
Election Time Again
It's time to vote again. Didn’t we do this a few weeks ago? Yep, and we get to do it again and again until the general election in November.
On Tuesday, April 2, 2024, we’re having school board and special elections throughout the state. Sixty-eight of seventy-seven counties have something on the ballot ranging from school board seats to city or county propositions. Please visit the Oklahoma State Elections Board to see if you need to vote.
Remember, there are no small elections; every vote is important. In my opinion, local school board elections are likely one of the most important items you’ll have on the ballot since they directly affect your community.
Early voting is open Thursday, March 28, and Friday, March 29, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. The polls are open Tuesday, April 2, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.
The next election will be June 18, 2024, for the statewide primary.
Be The Change
Are you tired of the status quo in Oklahoma politics? Do you want change? Then run for office. Now's your opportunity.
Candidate filing for Federal, State, and County offices will be open Wednesday, April 3, through Friday, April 5, 2024.
Offices include all five U.S. Representatives, the Corporation Commissioner, odd-numbered State Senate Districts, all 101 State Representatives, County Clerks, Court Clerks, and County Sheriffs.
Visit the Oklahoma State Elections Board for details on how to file for office.
March Madness
Congratulations to the OU Women's team for making it to the 2024 NCAA Basketball Tournament. They will face Florida Gulf Coast in the first round on March 23 at 3:00 PM CDT in Bloomington, Indiana.
All of the women's tournament games will be available to watch on ESPN's networks and streaming services with a few select games airing on ABC. ESPN will be airing the Final Four, but the championship game will be on ABC.
The OU / FGCU game will be on ESPN News.
